The G407 is traditional in style. It’s made with premium wood. The forearm and sleeve are made with a beautiful Birdseye maple wood. There is no wrap on the cue, so the Birdseye maple is front-and-center, as on a traditional cue. The decorative six-color lithograph transfer imaging is subtle and traditional in appeal. But, something lies at the center of the tip of the G407, and the center makes the G407 shoot better than a traditional maple billiards cue. The G407 is equipped with the famous G-Core technology made exclusively by McDermott. The G-Core promises enhanced play for billiards players. It lowers vibration, strengthens the cue, and ensures improved consistency of shorts. The G-Core features carbon fiber that starts at the tip of the cue and extends through the first seven inches of the shaft. This promises greater accuracy and power, but it gives the traditional feel of an all-maple shaft.
