In a swimming pool, a Winter Plug is used as a wintertime stopper for the return jet in an above ground pool. It's easy to install and remove. Users simply unscrew the threaded eyball fitting and insert the plug from the inside of the pool. Then, they turn to tighten until snug. This will prevent water from running out of the pool when the plumbing and filter system is removed.
